My Happiest Mistake

I try to live with no regrets

And yes, it's easy to forget

The love I had was not fake

That's why my heart had to break.

I have to admit

You're the hardest to forget,

But if nothing else, you were my happiest mistake,

Which everyone has to one day make.

Lessons are taught

Through the battles we've fought...

We learn through all we do

Which is why I will never regret you...

The joys, the tears

Countless fights, wonderful years

The ups, the downs

Our smiles, our frowns...

You will always be my happiest mistake

Even if because of you my heart had to break...
