In the single twinkle of a star
I saw what was within your eyes~
I saw all I thought were only dreams
And truths I thought were lies~
Within your eyes that shone like stardust
I saw all the world could dream of in time~
And I felt the sensation of my falling
As I pictured your love as mine~
My heart will never be the same
Not now that I have met you~
How could I have doubted my one dream
To feel as good as I now do~
You wiped from my heart within a second
All things in life I ever did regret~
Now I can never have not known you
And you alone my heart never could forget~
Now all that I can ever ask for~
Is to know this thrill once more~
To hear a knock and when I answer
Find only you standing at my door~
