A Flower

Author: thecarpenter

A flowers petals
soft yet taut
uncurl from the bud
to bask in the sun

The colours enticing
especially red
the scent captivating
the nectar so sweet

The stem supporting
garnished in leaf
slender and perfect
serves only the flower
