The Robots

The days are slowly and quickly passing
The robots keep harassing

Time they say
Is never today

Change and tranquility, they fear
Harmony, seems not so near

They rush
And try to keep us hush
They feel proud
And will scream it out loud

What is all this
Certainly no bliss
What ever happened
To the soft kiss

They think they have it all
Treasures they think are not small
They shine their wealth
But ignore their true health

They continue in their old way
No need to try and make them sway

The waves of change
Seems to them, so strange
I like the crest of the wave
Not afraid of being brave

I don’t mind the resistance
I’ll stick to my adherence

It’s all I can control, my head
Seems they want it to be dead

Turn the old pages
Become with the changes
There is no dangerline
Only a unifying dance on the valentine

That's why I traveled so far
To come together where we are

Who made us robots? Isn't it capitalism, Liberalism, etc...?

Company owners are exploiting working people, We have no time to look at the other, to take care of the other or to love our neighbors. We have to work, work, work for them....... Yes we are free to choose......... Coca cola, Pepsi........ Let's enjoy our freedom.....We are free to choose laugh ....... But we can't see they are consuming us. frustrated

Actually I feel your situation is little bit better than the others... at least you have time to think. Yes fight for a better world angel

Yep Gypsyheart...change is now and living in the past and recycling the past's failed ways gets old. Screw fear and that hand from the past controlling the present!
