Skips stone free
Choices abound with each breath breached
One, two, three, four, five, six…seven, eight…nine…ten…
Settles in silt far below the surface
Decision fortified outside, steels inner truth
Path strengthens…resides
An egret takes last moonlit flight,
White outline graces the soft pink sky
Figure turns…walks away in stride
Confident and peaceful in knowledge -
Skip stones deep inside
