Beautiful as a sunny day.
Wonderful in every way.
Many things appear as a bouquet.
Love is a place you always want to stay,
And you think everything will be okay.

But now in all your dismay,
Things have somehow gone astray.
The warming sunshine goes away,
And darkness cometh does not delay.

Everything bright colors turns to gray.
Winds of change sweep your mind into disarray.
All that can be said seems to be a bad cliche.

The trees of stability now begin to sway.
Hard rain pummels your heart into decay.
Its the love and friendship they did betray.

Crackles of reality shock you into dismay.
Confidence has been completely blown away.
Down on your knees you begin to pray.
Everyone now sees you as a stray.

The entire world looks at you as prey.
Hopes to survive begin to fray.
Its meaning you no longer can convey.

Heaviness of sustaining emptiness begins to weigh.
Flashes of memories destroy your soul this day.
Pain in loneliness is what you can not say.

Streams of sadness turn to raging rivers today.
All that you lived for has washed away.
Clouds of grief and sorrow torture in every way.

Overwhelming everything seems as a complex array.
Fear pelts from the harshest angles every day.
A wave of anger floods your brain in a way not okay.

Random thoughts circulate as your mind will not obey.
Your very essence of being is eroding away.
It is Death you begin to portray.
Cold and alone you want to offer existence up on a tray.

The rain slows, clouds break, down to the ground you lay.
The wind dies, and the threat seems to pass like the gray.
Looking up, you realize they were not the only way.
Rising, you have a new hope like a sun ray.
Life now seems as though it might be okay.
Be careful who you choose to love in this new day.
