I’ve been hurt and thought my life had come to an end
Abandoned and left yearning for a friend
Then I found you and hope again reared its head
I discarded the thought of death and longed for life instead…
Your words excite me, like music they sound so sweet
My heart starts pounding, you sweep me off my feet
So deep in thought they echo through my brain
I feel elated, a man in love again.
Now all that matters is having you by my side
To shower upon you feelings I cannot hide
And grow to love you simply because you’re you
But I must think: Is this a dream come true?
