there was a simple mind,
not exciting
because there was no other kind!
In the middle it parted when
a secret crept within its cells,
never to be the same again
nor the truth it now conceals!
In the unintentional end
honesty unbalanced is mystified,
so a lie enters to contend
with truth no longer sanctified!
