Favourite things

Petals of a rose
white clouds in a clear blue sky
a tree full of blossoms
lemons swinging in the
soft breeze
the gentle waves
kiss the shore
the sun
settling down
over the horizon
red, pink, blue skies
silhouettes across the
rocks
sand beneath the feet
the sounds of the night
lull me to sleep
beneath the sky
cluttered with sparkling
dazzling stars
all twinkling merrily
and softly whispering
in my ear: never fear, for I am here.....
