Bad Dream

I thought that we broke up,
so how can this be?
This morning I woke up,
and you were lying next to me.

I threw you out last month,
Since then we haven't talked.
So how'd you get in my house?
I know the door was locked.

No sign that you broke in,
I must have opened up the door...
but I hate you so much,
why would I do that for?

You're opening your eyes now,
and getting out of bed.
Now I'm scared cuz I don't know,
what's going through your head.

My stomach starts to churn
when I remember what you've done
I see you coming towards me
So I turn to run.

I see the door nailed shut,
This is the end for me it seems.
Until I open up my eyes
and find it's just a dream.

Phew... You had me worried there.. I thought it so real that I was beginning to panic.

Great use of word and phrasing, very vivid and scary. Let's hope you don't have anymore dreams like that. Don't think my heart could take it.

nightmares and lies
Some poetry brings dark feelings
some poetry makes me cry,
some poetry is meant to say hello,
and some is meant to say goodbye,
i loved the poem you were so willing to share,
its just sad you met someone who really didnt care,
i know how it feels to find out someone is not true,
because it happened to me the way it happened to you.
