My Mom Is An Angel

My mom means the world to me and now she's very ill and is only allowed visits of two per family. She has not had an easy life. Became a widow twice after being a devoted wife. Her baby's she made the extreme decision to give away. There was no money to eat or toys for them to play.

Still she stays strong and has been an Angel to everyone she meets. She'll even invite you in to eat. She takes care of people everywhere. It is not only me, anyone will tell you she's an Angel a Blessing to her church community.

Now, my Mom, my Angel is very ill. In the hospital with her heart. It can't be true. Without my Angel I wouldn't know what to do. There is fluid in her lungs and heart. Her health is declining and I can't make it if we depart.

She has done so much to make the world a better place. She even has an Angel's face. Please, Keep my Mom in your thoughts and prayers. She's ready, but I'm not ready for her to meet the man upstairs.

My heart goes out to you Pink. I was a Mamma's girl - lived with her all my life. She passed away from Congestive Heart Failure in Aug. 2008. I too didn't think I could make it without her, but then I started writing my poems and they gave me great comfort as well as my 2 older brothers. I found a closer church as well and found a wonderful church family. I was determined I would make it through my natural life span so that I could see her in Heaven. So I too have an Angel - she is in Heaven and I like to think she is looking down at me and smiling and approving of the way I live. The problem is, I'm not as good a housekeeper as she was (cleaned through 2 x's a week - me once a month if I'm lucky! laugh ) Nor as good a cook! I hate to cook for one! But I feel there are more important things to do at church and elsewhere. Take care I will be praying for your Mom, you and your family.
