YOU CAN'T NOT LOOK

What possesses females to parade in clingy tights
shameless showcasing takes provocative to new heights
Tactful dress clearly thrown right out the window
"You Can't Not Look" at details they consciously show

Women certainly know this attire warrants wanted attention
slutty "Eye Candy" arouses thoughts I badly wanna mention
If not meant to raise eyebrows why wear trashy things
gawks of lust precisely what overly revealing outfit brings

Lady's there's such a thing as TOO much 'Camel Toe'
Spandex wearers 'in your face' everywhere you go
These women are many things but they're NOT shy
some so desirable it hurts inside when they pass by

Displaying such sadistic clothing is soliciting a stare
having to keep silent leans heavily toward very unfair
When people glare it's 'How dare you gaze at me'
'disrespect' is flaunting what only your man's eyes should see

This daily wear is offensive but accepting that "they won't"
consider caring about what other people think " they don't "
Tights are women's go to dress whether at work or play
in our morally defunct world seductive sexy is here to stay

Adults can rightly dress as cheap as they so desire
your look shouldn't be okayed for little girl's attire

I totally agree. My Mom (God rest her soul) brought me up to be a lady. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a Tom Boy in the respect - I HATE DRESSES. I wear jeans and tops all the time - my feminine tops. I'm definitely a girl (an old fashion one I'm afraid) - but I HATE DRESSY DRESSES! lol No provocative dress here - just casual.

Personally I consider that the woman has to is modest is dressed, the provocative clothes are opposite to me. To a huge regret, often on the street you won't understand the woman goes or the man. Now men put on and painted as the woman. Heaven and earth was moved.

Redex: You are much wiser than today's women. It boggles my mind how women actually think this is appropriate... I think there is a degree of evil behind it. I know for a fact that women who wouldn't dare dress so provocative have a low opinion of the ones that do. It's the sick world we live in...what can you do? Thank you lady (Redex) for commenting.

I concur 100% regarding both women & children - and unfortunately, as far as children, it's in the school girls' uniforms in the area I live. The skirt can be any length, can even be trousers. But if a skirt, then stockings as well, and there are many girls age 16-17 wearing skirts as short as they can get - some in town just off the school bus. I can't understand a school not having any rules for skirt length, as the tights allowed can also be the sheerest made. I have to give credit to the men in town who look away, but plenty still look, not to mention the teenage boys seeing all on display.
Can't imagine fathers, esp., wanting their daughters dressed this way - though I'm sure many don't have a father at home, and even if a mother makes sure her daughter goes out the door appropriately, it won't stop some girls from changing into a 2nd skirt.
However, what's wrong with the schools? (Sheesh - if you visit a men's prison in the U.S., no leggings, clingy tops, other clothing deemed provocative, etc., allowed - and with good reason I expect, though I've never questioned the reason for the policy.)

Good write,

Wow... what a nice greeting. Thank you so much! (I guess I'm kinda known for randomly appearing, as I've been told over the years that a search party or Scotland Yard were being considered in an effort to discover my location). I'm not mysterious, though. Just busy - but the Poetry Corner, esp. the people here are what makes me want to come back. (But I really dislike a lot of the changes made & think I'm gonna take a break from this place - again laugh )
By the way, my dad, 80 yrs. old, would also agree with this poem thumbs up
Thanks again, and hope you're doing alright.
