Have you come across any ghostly encounter ? (59)
Never seen a ghost,nor an alien,however I did live in a house many years ago that made me wonder,some weird things were happening there.

Oh yes! Thanks for the post. In life, my ghost was female, her name was Louise Morgan. While alive, she lived here in this house before I moved in. In life, Louise was a nurse and she was undoubtably a clean natured woman. I'm single, no need to clean-up in-a-hurry, bit of a slob at times. She would throw my trash around the house. One time, I saw a TV dinner tray slide across the living room floor. For years I couldn't figure-out why she would only haunt me in the winter. It dawned on me that I'm dressed in the winter time in the house and in the summer I have no clothes on. She was a modest ghost. She was here for about ten years, I haven't had her presence for about nine years now.

Not me but my friend came occross one.He told that one day he was sleeping in his room alone as his roommates were on a vacation.While sleeping he felt like someone pinching his leg.Initially he thought it was a dream or some rats doing.But no rats and he did not get sleep.Then he thought they were some mosquitoes so he put a blanket and slept,but after sometime someone started pulling his blanket.This happened 3 times.So he did not sleep well that night and later on started playing some game in his mobile.After some days he vacated that room and came to my house.Should see if it happens here as well.........

My Grandma had a huge pink house in Round Lake IL. She had several children (Out of 10 my mom being the oldest) who were about to graduate different schools. Grandma was in bed. Grandpa got up to use the bathroom. While he was gone, she saw someone walking around in her room. She thought it was one of her sons and called and called to him. The figure left and hit the door just as Grandpa was coming back in the room. Grandma asked who was in the hall. Grandpa said no one was there. Grandma kept swearing it was one of the boys. The next day they found out it was not one of the boys. Later on, they found out hat the builder of the house had a lot of kids like they did. One of his daughters got killed in a horrible accident on a train track right before her graduation.

When I was little, I was always scared of that room, that hallway, and that bathroom and the linen closets in that hall. I was also scared of other parts of the house. Years later, my cousin said she was also terrified of that room and hall. We couldn't explain it. the hall just freaked us out.

one in particular really scared me. a black solid silhouette of a man, 6' tall, standing about 8 feet from me. i was told later, they are called 'shadow figures'.
anyhoo...i've only been frightened twice in my life to the point of shaking...and that was one of the times.

he comes and he goes only comes out at night seriously i like to visit haunted places..we have a haunted battle field here in PA called battle at gettysburg and they have times in the evening that you can go see soldier ghost sightings .I guess you have to make an appointment"s to see the ghost there

I have never had a ghostly experience but the idea does intrigue me.I have had times where I have gotten goosebumps and the hair on the back of my head stood up but never really know the reason why. Interesting subject, more people should share their stories.

I could write a book on what I've seen and experienced but reluctant to post them in the forums due to naysayers. Some people are more perceptive to such things than others and there are people who will never experience them and are likely inclined to disbelieve. Regardless, I think you may have experienced a presence however subtle it was.

I've seen the 'Shadow man' twice, in life. Both times in the same year, when I was a kid. I was between 12 and 14 years old and living with my grandparents. The first sighting was near dark time outdoors, he was standing in a soybean field looking towards me. We were about 30 yds. (27m) apart from each other. The second time, I was sleeping on the living room couch one night and I woke up long enough to see him standing just inside the front door, looking towards me, we were about 12 ft. (4m) apart. I went right back to sleep, wasn't afraid, but the sighting did give me pause. Both times, he was a silhouette with a long cape wearing a tall top hat. I've always wondered what the significance of the top hat is. Why not a turban, or a cowboy hat, or a football helmet ?one in particular really scared me. a black solid silhouette of a man, 6' tall, standing about 8 feet from me. i was told later, they are called 'shadow figures'.

It must've been a sight to behold! I grew up in a community where almost everyone believe in its existence, regardless of race, religion and culture.
I'm even scared of horror or ghost movies! Can't bear to watch 'em. Yeah! I am that scared!!

I've seen so many horror and ghost movies to the point where they just don't scare me anymore.
