I'm serious My parents just got a cordless landline - have had a cellphone for yrs. which my mom still can barely navigate.
So I think, if he means landline, which my mom's brother only recently told her about, saying how great it was to be able to walk around & not be tied to the spot, esp. if you're on hold... would be the correct answer... and I want to get the answer right!
Btw - I gave my parents the cordless phones, given to me by a much more progressive 80yr.old couple I worked for - and it's been great b/c my mom can go to get my mail & read any relevant stuff, etc(since my mail doesn't need to pile up next to the phone in the kitchen for all to see)- but I think cell phones started coming into wide use soon after...
Do I have too much time on my hands? No... just waiting for the "chemists" aka pharmacist to call back with info - then off to outrun the buses to town (But I still wanna get the answer right!) Cat
p.s.If he says he means cell(mobile), then I would pick pc(just so it's on the record...)

chatonlyman2: I picked computer but if we work as a team we can get the right answer in no time
(and the author said 50 votes or correct answer - but he's in Cali., so it would be 4a.- I think, his time- so maybe in about 4 hrs. we can be declared the winners). So all you on the edge of your seats... will have to stay on the edge a little longer

This is exiting. I'm tempted to call in sick for work
Terrific_Leo: I will reveal the answer after 50 people take the poll or someone answers correctly, which ever comes first.
No one has voted for the right answer yet. Good thing this is in the "Jokes and humour" category. I don't know if I will catch some flack for giving the answer but chances are this post will not be seen anyway. LOL

The "Compact Disk Player" is the correct answer.
