I'm afraid these are choices where you have to spend money heather! Unless you're fortunate enough to have your friends treat you for the night! or if it's a date.
Peace you might get if you go to a quiet pub or restaurant with no music. Or a walk somewhere. :)
Restaurant over looking the sea, moonlight, piano playing in the background, slow intimate dance embracing one another, slow drive along the coast with the roof down..................breakfast in bed for two

2intrigued: A movie and dinner sounds about right for me. Even a quiet evening at home. I partied and drank enough in my younger years to last me a lifetime.
Yeah I can't do hangovers and all nighters anymore except maybe on the odd occasion. The best fun of pubbing and clubbing was the dancing and 'spotting the talent' (checking out the eye candy). I don't miss the dancefloor gropers (when you only said yes cos your mammy said it wasn't polite to refuse a dance, grrr!) and the drunks nearly falling on you. Wasn't as bad though then as it is now from what I hear!

I'm content to have a quiet night in, or head to the pub with a few friends. When my partner and myself go out, it could either be a quiet walk to the pub, a meal or even a messed up night at a club with friends. It all depends on the moods at the time.

Absolutely perfect. But I'm so far back in the queue that I might be dancing with a Zimmer-frame by the time my number comes up.

Carmengetme: I prefer an outdoor activity...beach/bush walking.
I like a BBQ with family/friends(weather permitting)
A romantic date would be nice...out for dinner...but have all but given up on that idea.
I'm a bit of a loner really. Enjoy my own company and being around my kids.
My clubbing/pub/bar days are over...I don't drink much at all.
Wow....real party pooper, I sound...
Not at all, I'm sure you can do it all, like me. I'm quite content going for a coffee on my own or a walk or the cinema. We're independent carmen! :) It's nice and easy sometimes not to have to make conversation and just people watch, daydream or read.

I do Minnie.
I don't have a problem going to a cafe or movies on my own.
