The clue is in the free will. If it's true that God created us and then gave us free will well then after the creation the rest was up to us! I'm pretty sure that's what it's supposed to mean.
But I'm more leaning towards evolution to be honest.
So us humans look alike in that we have faces, bodies etc. (some more alike than others and some of that is down to climatic regions etc., colder regions tend to have paler people)
Red hair probably originates from a mix of blonde and dark (vikings and celts most likely). Not sure about blonde, except that it's associated mostly with Scandinavia originally, but why were they blonde?

Think it's to do with lack of pigment and lack of vitimin d that's genetically inherited because I have a bit in d in my diet and the sunshine,...once upon a time I'd say we were all black and lived closed to the equator and then land got broken up,,,the aborigines have not evolved that much through time they still the originals.

Maybe that's why there is alot of blonde people in northern hemisphere because lack of sunshine lack of vitamin d which the sun converts in our bodies hence lack of pigment which has been genetically inherited through the generations....it is also interesting to note that people from the northern hemisphere are more inclined to suffer multiple sclerosis where in African countries it is generally unknown, saturated fats cause disease interesting to note that in Mediterranean countries heart condition is low compared to northern countries Eire England because their diet consists more of fis, fruit ,polyunsaturated fats,,more vitamin d too from sunshine.

He set before us life and death, blessing and curse, and gives us the chance to choose between them (Deuter.30:19). He did this because we are His children, we little gods- He said this in Psalm 82:6.
Because we are His children then He gives free will and the chance to choose between good and evil so that everyone will be accountable on the day of judgement.
God is not responsible for those evil acts, everyone is responsible for every single act he/she engages in and will be accounted for.
