You left out the best reason. You realize they are literally insane. It isn't just that when you were out walking somewhere and she made up an address then asked a passing policeman how to find it and when he honestly told her he had never heard of it and had no idea how to find that address she screamed and cursed and attacked him trying to claw his eyes out and grab his gun. No, that was just the first clue. A more telling clue is when you wake up at 2am and find her stabbing at you with a butcher knife and later she tells you it was to prevent your leaving her like all the other men do or did. That is the time to call it quits.

I never regretted ceasing that long ago relationship. Months later she made the television news being arrested for killing someone and dumping their body down an apartment building elevator shaft.
