The tomato is the edible, often red fruit/berry of the nightshade Solanum lycopersicum, commonly known as a tomato plant. I'm not a fan of fruit, I love vegetables. Fruit produce too much natural sugars for me and are too sweet. I find oranges, apples, pears, bananas, etc boring but I just lurvvvvve raspberries. I also like strawberries, blueberries, mango, paw paw and starfruit.
I do like pomegranates but sooooo fiddly and you don't always have a pin to hand.....
