I since long believe that for longer space voyages we should change our skin composition to withstand the space radiation.
So I'm sort of a pro to work out how to do that.

and the different gravity on Mars would mean we should adapt to walk there.
Or a different set of animal is needed.

And having an extra pair of arms in a narrow space ships seems reasonable.
Are our bones not too weak to be out there anyway?

Shoot some ideas, or let someone make a movie out of this.

Personally, I think there is much unknowns on earth to discover, before we go deeper in to space.

I rather would rebuilt the spaceships than the genetics of the crew.

I'm more for plant terrestrial seeds to other planets, but probably there would be an environmental shock there.

Space bioengineering, what a mess.

We let those Nephlim screw everything up once before and it was a total wash (literally). It may happen again, but it's a very bad idea.

But I would like to fix my kidney's......

Not enough choices on the poll but I pick 1 and 3 with what is avaliable.
I always say if you can think of "It" it has already been considered and applied or getting applied.conversing innocent

Do hate to think of redoing what we have developed over so much time and natural selection....but space is one of the last frontiers and we should do what is needed...as for ideas....hmmmm....seems the radiation IS one of the biggest things to control. How to do it could be as simple as a radiation shield in topical application to the skin/eyes...sounds too simple I know but good...now we need the brainstormers to grab it! Improving ship design/protection also would have to be part of it. We've got a ways to go! dunno

Well we could breed for being able to hold one's breath for a long, long time. Also lower the Oxygen requirements. That'll allow a little air to go a lot further.

Well there are no biological Gamma radiation shields. Forget that. But I agree with nictating membranes for the eyes. The second membrane should block UV light. And can we tweak the counts of rods and cones in the retina so they see further into the infra red? Being able to literally see heat may come in handy.

What about DNA splicing in a tapetum lucidum lining for the eyes to gather light in the absence of a sun's proximity? Would be useful to be able to see on the leeward side of the spacecraft exterior with just starlight. Maybe enlarge the eyes a little.

We can't Gamma Ray block with the skin, but we can make it more leathery. Smaller pores. That way they would be less reliant on a pressure suit.

Along the same line, we could minimize both the ears and the nostrils, better valves on both for pressure adaption. That would allow holding in more air.

If we thin out the skull, perhaps enlarge it a little bit, we could add more brain for more computational power. May be handy to be easily able to run through 100 character tensor and quadratic equations in the head in a second or so..

Hey, wait a minute. Uh-oh. I know this guy. Folks, we just designed the first Grey!
