Check for the names too, many have not creativity and kind of replicate names just by changing a few letters.

Well, so far my experience has been full of about twenty contacts and about two thirds of those have profiles claiming they are either from, or in, the US. Turns out that all of those two thirds are pretty much located in Ghana or places close to it, and are definitely not from the US.
My profile is completely honest, and that is my picture here, much like yours is peach. I have only been using this site for about six or seven weeks, but I am almost discouraged enough to delete my profile. Why should it be too much to ask others to be honest?

Not everybody in Real Life is honest either.
Add the comfort of anonymity to that mix, and of course the ratio will get higher.
Use your bettet judgement.
If it looks too good to be true...it probably is!

Simply deleting your profile will result in the percentage of nasty people increasing and causing more good people to leave or not join. It is encouraging for others to find tiny islands of honesty here and there. One needs to have the attitude that you are in for the long-haul. Some people on CS have had success in finding a compatible partner - but are in the minority. All that one is doing is to possibly increase the chance of meeting the person that you are looking for.

during elections it is definitely something I have thought about. I don't put any merit in any poll done here. Even ones I have made. lol. too limited to really have any serious conclusions.
