What material item would you rescue? (38)
RainComeShine: I didn't know what section this would come under but lets hear what you would save in a fire assuming the people and pets are all safely out.
In terms of material items , I chose Photographs .That said though , hand on heart , who wouldn't try to retrieve as much as is possible ?

It would all depend on how fast the fire was spreading.

Anything of sentimental value which cannot be replaced.. The insurance will deal with the rest.

Actually you have a point there. The insurance policy may be the best thing to save.

photos, grandma's quilts, 2 photos of my father and I: both taken when I was about 2. One of them he was holding my hand, and the other one, he was trying to get me to feed a chipmunk and I had my knees pulled up afraid of the little chipmunk.

That's cute Kaybee. My dad passed away a year ago and I too have a pic from when I was about six and holding his hand.

Do not just "get the urge"!......DO IT!, make 2 discs and put them in different places, if its important to you as a memento then you should go about it immediately.
