I think it has happened but I was asleep and can not recall. I do believe I also fell asleep in a class when in college as I was hardly getting any sleep while working and going to school full time.

TenderBabe: I have fallen asleep in class and on the phone. It was an embarrassing experience. It occurred to me that I more then likely am not an anomaly. Perhaps you have had some awkward, falling asleep or nodding off, experiences.
i have fallen asleep at awkward times
worst was when I was driving down a dual carriage way doing 60 mph
I woke as the car side swiped the central barrier
no other traffic about and got away without any injuries
cant say the same for the car it was a write off

Hi "Daniel" You sparked a memory from when I used to do a lot of driving for my work as a sales rep. I had to drive early in the morning to get there at the right time so I often was driving in this foggy conditions. I also remember waking up while traveling at over 70 MPH down the freeway. Good thing that I was able to not get to freaked out nor run into another vehicle. That was a scary moment. I think I had an adrenaline rush that lasted the rest of my drive. LOL.
