well, i haven't posted a poll in almost a year, so i thought i might have the right to post something again without falling in the same routine.
was wondering this cause a lot of paying dating sites have offers for a one year contract. i always feel thats bad advertisement, cause they if you need to stay that long, they cant be much good.
being on here for about 3 years now, cant say i blame CS. its mostly my lack of working this site. plus its more difficult connecting international singles.

because you're an agent ,, others aren't they count on luck like a poker ,,
yes i might need to explain myself further for the regulars who have lost the purpose of a DATING site a bit maybe. ??
for me a result would be to actually have found a partner.
and yes a time frame would be quite nice, for the sooner the better no? I don't register on a dating site to find a partner in 10 years. (or chat with total strangers for that matter)

well, seriously speaking ,,, a time frame is not easy to picture out,, so many thing depends,, how to manage the distance, since this is planetary, Your capacity to assume whatever expenses there might be to see if your found partner is relly existing ,, so many have found, and they wished to change your planet (both sides) to be together,, who will give up his/her post? who is not afraid/hesitant of re-adaptation? ?

Yes, well have to say I registered with the same intent as yourself. That was 15 months ago now.
Success? Potentially there was, but it never got off the ground, unfortunately. Distance is the big factor.
I think if you're prepared to put the effort in, things may happen for you. Having said that, it can also happen at the most unexpected times.
Perhaps if you were to concentrate on your local area. Just a suggestion.
I've been here on CS about five years and online dating for about ten. I have met some great friends, aquantainces, and a few short term relationships. I guess it depends on what you're looking for.
jac_the_gripper: What do you mean by a result? Like scoring a goal at football?
And why would you expect a time parameter?
Is it true men have to measure everything?
That was exactly my thought-what kind of result are we talking about. I had plenty of results when I joined CS-attracted all the freaks, stepped on the wrong toes... made friends, had lots of fun and also headaches... one way or another, they're all results As for the measurements, I think you might be onto something

Well, I kind of interpret Connecting Singles as a singles site. I'm not sure how I came to that conclusion.
Maybe it's got something to do with the name and all the different options which people may seek inclusive of, but not exclusive to dating.

Now I don't know whether to answer the question with a 1-0 score, or 6 inches.
Oh but that means changing myself to please someone else at the risk of altering my health. Phew! That's not going to happen. I believe I'm awesome the way I am and in no need of validation from anyone

Goody I'm the 1% who is friendly and not clickish.
I don't think anyone can give a mathematical answer to this ... who knows what can or will or wont happen, that cannot be done in reality not to talk about it on net.
