I wonder how long we should continue seeing thousands of refugees coming in boats from Africa every day.- In my opinion the only solution would be to do it like the Australian. So without Visa you have no right to stay. (or something alike if I remember correctly) What you think is the best solution to this in the longer run?

I always say I wish my grandfather had stolen a loaf of bread, because now I'd be sunning myself in Oz.

Soon rules would be obsolete whatever/wherever it is, immigrants of all sorts will flock where land can be found ,, solutions, it's the immigrants who have them ,,
derda are they coming your home and asking your money? all EU countries half of them they have poor conditions actually so even for example somebody already in Switzerland without proper language ability and connection already impossible to find the job this rule applies all for the other countries so who cares they are in or out...

I don't like the point system. They can give you zero points after a certain age and that can zero out your chances even if you are a highly qualified doctor. The only "out" of that dilemma they have in OZ is that you can bring money. 15 years ago, the buy-in price was 500K AUD. Maybe it's more now? Don't know. Germany also has a buy-in price, so does the US. Germany is 250K Euro.

You grandfather wouldn't have to steal anything in this country. All he needed to be was a big strong lad that would be a good worker on some Aus plantation. All that was needed was the accusation. The prison ship was waiting.

Perhaps it's better to say a refugee where to go and how.

Why are people afraid of refugees? Would they threaten your job? Would you be at some health risks? Is “your” welfare system at risk?
Can you imagine how people felt in countries when they were massacred and invaded? Can you compare that to your fear to refugees or illegal immigrants?
Europe it is your time to pay back.
Sorry to Switzerland but it can not move.
Solution:
Do a fair trading and let the people on countries were Europeans do profit from business to benefit themselves, creating jobs in those countries so they will have not to "invade" Europe.

We got lots in Switzerland since it seems a desired travel target. Even in my Fitness studio there are...while I see they have time, I'm surprised as it's not cheap at all.-
I think the current situation is not satisfying for any part. Instead of paying millions for border control, rescue ships etc., we should adopt a OZ law and spend that money in infrastructure of such countries.
In swiss TV there was a interview with some australian guy who said that boat refugees driven by tug gangs has dropped to zero since.
Such law would only destroy the business model of tug gangs and leave money for real help.

so, you think what we do is good...?
It may look like it to you, but the reality is, we don't really even let boat people into the country anymore... we keep them on islands off shore mainly, and they stay in detention for ages.. some opt to return voluntarily to wherever they hailed from.
Is this how you think people should treat people..
In previous years, we did have a huge influx of boat people, and they came and kept coming. and in all of this coming, tragedy happened, as those boats were not seaworthy, and many many died..
So, now our PM has organised to tow the boats back.. and the boats do not come anymore..
coupled with the fact that arrivals go to PNG and other places, but not Aussie mainland...
I think the word has gotten out to not come here anymore...

NATO ships should do their job of protecting Europe from any invasion by sea, armed or hands out for aid; sink all the ships or how about letting them all in until our countries resemble theirs and all Europeans can migrate to their countries and make them all livable, prosperous and peaceful…That will then cause them to move back into their countries, take over the homes, business’s etc. until they ruin them all and start sailing for Europe once again…a never ending cycle until those boats are finally sunk with all aboard once and for all…why prolong and continue this idiotic game...

hi merry .i was joking....as much as i feel sorry for them.......every country has a saturation point.....as of late , jobs are not easy to come by....this country is taxed upto the eyeballs.....in gods name, how can we support thousands of these people.....who go straight onto benifits......and where does the money come from......by taxing us even more.....if your goverment..made it a rule....for you to give up your home..to house thos people....and just left you the shed at the bottom of your garden.......to live in...how would you feel.....(eg) oh great .i have this .and they have nothing ....its not our fault thos people have to leave their country.....so why should i have to suffer.what little i do have , i worked damm hard for.....not handed to me on a plate........jmo.
i like the aussie system of return-to-sender. All boats with passengers should give an advance notice to the European port they want to land in. Failure to do so means imprisonment of the captain and taking of the boat for welfare in other countries. The passengers should be dropped off/returned in the departure port.
Asylum seekers should give a warning prior to entering the country. If the seeker didn't try to contact the country he is heading for by explaining his route then he failed the visa test.
abcWOMAN: Adopting or not, I Think Europé need to find a brilliant solution how to stop the people smugglers!!People smugglers are using Facebook to lure migrants into 'Italy trips'!
I think Europe needs to send all back where they originate. A zero tolerance policy would send the message These people contribute little besides disease and crime to the countries they enter illegally. They laugh at the western liberal attitude! Really, what do they contribute?

Really!!...where are you getting your information from? Why not treat the refugees humanely...let the claimant hearing sort it out...you need to look at this from a different perspective...what if you were seeking shelter?...
