I tend to stay on good terms, on the basis if I liked someone enough to invest that much time in them, there's still liking left. But there have only been a few, and I was usually the one that called time because ONLY liking was left and that was dwindling fast under the pressure.

Haha okay. Yup, stayed on friendly terms with mine because of shared child. He said once he wished I had had affairs instead of ending things. I don't think that would have worked out either. No other talking was ever really done, we just ran out of steam.
