British, of course. Though there are some American comedies that appeal. Some of it doesn't translate though.

The Seventies being the golden era for me.
Python,Reginald Perrin,Carry on films,on the buses,,, 80s Kenny Everett,Benny Hill,only fools and horses....

British comedy... Not little Britain though. Monty Python, Carry On, Misfits has been my favorite for the last Two years.

Those were the ones we did get when we were growing up. I only started watching Monty Python etc when I grew up
I do remember local comedies too like Going up! Remember that? No one left home on Monday nights
