The hardest thing that I've ever had to do, is to maintain employment: hold-down a job while having a broken heart. This was in 1992 and the initial pain lasted for months.

Sometimes the Hardest thing can be the very simplest of all. For me I have found that these last few years that I have been online and though I have met people and gotten pretty far into learning about others that even still I find my words can be so clumsy and sterile at times. I have been a writer of songs and poetry, even some short stories if I go way back. At one time I even possessed a certain ability to connect with words. But I think that the Hardest thing is when you do not know how to get past just words. Words can excite but they can also be read at the wrong time and even misunderstood. I think that maybe even deeper is that communication between two people. Especially two people that are searching or maybe even just out there in the world and suddenly meet. For those that feel this it is very much like a handicap. Well, it does not have to be that way, but when it is it can be very hard indeed.

I would have to agree with tomcat regarding my reluctance to face things or see how
others see me. I may not always agree with them or willing to see the truth as they see things
However, when and if I choose to come to terms with it I know that those who care are only trying to help. The ones who don't care will say nothing and let you continue to be a fool. However, when you find nobody shows interest or writes or just passes you by the hardest thing then is to look within to evaluate what one is doing wrong and have the courage to change and fix it.
