I was an interviewer...at the olypic,s....I tried to interview ,Usain Bolt...while running backwards doing the 100 yard sprint.he never said much..trying to catch his breath i suppose.....
.....and the winner of the swimming in Rio will be the one keeps their mouth shut (to prevent ingesting sewage), avoiding dead bodies, plastic bags, floating appliances and other detritus... AND surviving the numerous pathogens and viruses, including Zika!
That deserves a medal!

Brought up by her Tongan mother after her English father had abandoned the family, she took up the shot put aged 13. With her imposing frame (1.93m, 120kg) and impeccable technique, she soon established herself as one of the stars of the discipline.

Oh no! Poor guy, ouch! No, I didn't see it. Back and forth between RTE2 and BBC. Saw a bit of the Women's 7's, 'gwan the women!

OMG,I just saw on Twitter that poor French guy breaking his leg. Hope he didn't do lasting damage. Can't remember her name but in an athletics competition last year, she broke her hand in a fall. I think it was the Diamond League. A few unfortunate cyclist also today.

I doubt it, generally lots of injuries
I seen the cyclists crashing today, that can seriously hurt. And they were all in the medal positions. Can easy happen in cycling unfortunately.

I saw that crash too.
But this is a horrific injury. I feel so bad for this guy.

The thing with so many sports in the Olympics is it will be hard to keep up with all the ones I like. Oh well, it's a small complaint.
