Hiya Serene I care about the outcome as it will affect how the US and the rest of the world gets on but I don't care for the mud slinging that goes on everywhere including here in the forums.

serene56: You didn't vote 2int .. it's a Yes or No
Well, it's a yes and no going by what I said but it would have been easier to state one way or the other if you had asked "do you care about American Politics in the forums" then it would be a big no.
I'm from American and I don't want to hear about it anymore. I'm dreading the future for us. I'm sick of all the hype in the press. Most of all, I'm sick of being judged for what people in control of my country does.
Truth is, although I hate politics, I do care. Just not on here. Whenever a thread or blog smell of politics, I steer clear. And I’m with Shine, judging people by what their leaders do is absurd.

This is the real reality of what's going on, not only here in the forums but also out in the world. The reality is that many are truly concerned about our future, and what is in the balance of and from this election outcome.
We have a mainstream media that is totally, completely bias on either side of the political parties. Why? Because the mainstream media is owned by the political parties. Full stop. And then we have the political party extremists (including those of you here on the forums, and you all know who you are...and so do many of us here know as well) having posted continuous threads upon threads of what the mainstream media wants everyone to see. That is their clear and bias focus, nothing more, aside from wanting to continue stirring the political media pot. And then there's youtube spewing even more propaganda to continue fueling said bias. This leaves very little room to actually hold any meaningful discussions or debates on what either candidate stands for, and is also the reason why I no longer wish to participate in political threads.
And it honestly is disheartening to see how American civilians are being judged and ridiculed by what our political powers are doing. Yes, we are the one's who vote them in, but we have absolutely little to no control over what our government does. They (our government) has made certain that we the people have no control over them, their actions. And that's just one of many reasons why a lot of us are sick and tired and want real change, change that puts the empowerment back into We the people, a government of the people, for the people and by the people.
I voted YES in this poll for the reasons mentioned above.

That's the attitude which I really judge Americans for. It allows you to be a country based on saying one thing and doing another. If the people are not responsible for and disagree with what the government does then the country will be forever blameless. It's called having your cake and eating it too.

Reminds me of the ole saying; 'Can't see the forest for the trees.'
So, citizens are to be blamed for what their government does? A fine trick with one's hands being firmly tied. Cake, anyone? You'll have to serve yourself as we're tied up at the moment.

So many people from other countries think they know how it is here. Live here for a while yourself and you'll see the reality of the situation. Everybody thinks that each individual here has a voice. We have no voice. If we did this Obama Care would of never made it into action.
Rumples, judge away. Rant away, whatever. Better yet, walk a day in my shoes and see how in feel in the end of it. I'm not coming back to this political thread. Don't know why I post in it anyway. Say what you want about me. My "Give a damn" broke this week.
I believe the gov. are out to control the people. we don't have a voice any more. the media has misled the people.now more than ever people should be aware what the gov. is doing even if it does not interest you.
I have no interest in even local politics, not to mind ones in another continent.
However, because those ones drag on ad nauseam, then we cannot ignore them.
Plus, putting the button of nuclear weapons in the hands of a madman kinda affects the whole world (To paraphrase an advisor - "What's the point in having them if we don't use them )
If I were an American citizen, I would feel very angry at having to chose between those two.
I would either vote for a 3rd option, if there is one) or spoil my vote in protest.
serene56: You didn't vote 2int .. it's a Yes or No
I voted no, as my interest in who becomes president has turned to apathy as the candidates have both demonstrated they are as crooked as the road to hell. As I wrote in another thread, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are the worst possible candidates, they are both con-artists and psychopaths. Very unpopular presidential candidates often cause down-ballot candidates to lose and I'll focus my attention on those candidates you all likely won't see on these threads..
the clinton bush neocon trotsky'ite crime family blame russia for everything, its all scripted, and the fake home grown commie neocon republicans will support hillary just to go to war with Russia. the war drums are beating louder.
all US media parroting the same message word for word, like old tyme pravda newspaper.
trumpy on the other hand represents the anti war sentiment of the american people, always saying he doesnt want war, just prosperity and pro constitution supreme court picks.
the home grown commie neocons/trotsky'ites only want to use the US military as canon fodder for world war 111 at any an all costs even if it means the demise of millions of people. the global clinton bodycount around the world is already yuuuuuuuge. it's like the clinton crime family has already been in charge for 30 years.
galrads: I don't have a problem with fracking. What I have a problem with environmentally today is that a lot of air quaility programs are losing funding due to all the coal fired power plants being shut down. EPA set air funding to be drawn from permits to operate and permits to install. Because of coal fired power plants high emission inventories they carried the wait for most stationary sources.
This was intentional. In the old days state and local air programs applied for EPA grant funding and states matched that with with general revenue funding. Obama intended for this to happen. Democrats in public office can give a squat about air and water quality.
Its very interesting, that you don't have a problem with fracking shown to cause ground water pollution, with millions of ill people.. But you do have a problem air quality control government funding..
Clean water to drink and clean air to breathe, are both requirements for All Life !

No problem when water near fracking is flammable and contaminated air makes people sick?..
You must love the smell of fresh asphalt too..
And general revenue spending for environmental protection anymore in states with Republican legislatures. You know damn well that spending less money for cleaner environment, air and water quality is and has been primarily republican ideology local, state and federal..
