I think you have to judge the situation on a case by case basis rather than to make a categorical policy statement.

There are times and situations in which chocolate would be certainly be preferable to sex.

For example I would feel perfectly at ease sharing a hershey bar with my friend Sascha the pirate.
But sex???, mmmmm, nah, no way, just can't see it.

On the other hand, there are indeed other times and situations where sex would be the better alternative.

I prefer to leave both options open until all the variables are known.
