Why post into a 'hateful' poll and thread?

i probably would, if there was a tangible point, but it's kind of a mish mosh of frustrations. perhaps the late j.candy's not so funny brother could pick one or two points to stick to, and clarify?

Absolutely not..The USA is not the most hated country in the world. In fact, it is still among the most admired countries in the world. But, yes, certain political leaderships and certain political agenda ( i am sure you people are smart enough to know which political agenda/leadership..*wink*) that are hated the most.

we would be if we quit handing out to other countries, they like to complain but are right there with their hand out maybe we should pull every one home sit on our fat arses and let all go down the tubes

Certainly not as hateful as silently ignoring when your country conducts massacres against poor 3rd world countries just to get their oil.

Sometimes confronting the ugly truth is the most loving thing one can do.

Look at Jesus, you couldn't call him "hateful". But he aroused the ire of the "good" religious folk everywhere he went, because he exposed their hypocrisy.

Some of the nicest people I know are from the States, and they have FAR more manners, and integrity than alot of the other people on here.

Hmmmmm, well throughout history if you found yourself in the position of being a country with this much power you're gonna get those that either love you or those that can't stand your guts.

The suggestion that America is a hated country in this day and age is beyond belief. America is defending Europe against these islamic nutcases that go around the world blowing people up cos lets face it our EEC partners nor NATO have the balls to do it. The UK and the US stand up for freedom. The person who initiated this post should ask themselves a few simple questions such as what happens when the mental cases running north Korea decide to spit their dummys and launch a nuclear strike. Who will the west turn to if islamic fundametalists such as Iran develop the capability to launch a nuclear strike on Israel.
I suggest you all look around the world and see what is going on before you judge the USA. George Bush created a lot of problems for the US but he is a thing of the past. One thing you must become aware of is that we need the USA more than they need Europe.
Every islamic country in the world that has conflict within their borders have all got one thing in common. They are all killing each other with Russian and Chinese weapons.
I honestly worry that my grandchildren will witness a major nuclear strike in the middle east within the next 30 years and at that stage who will Europe turn to.
Do not ever underestimate the importance of the USA against any threats the west faces in the coming years. In my book the USA are trusted,loyal and important allies in the defense of the free world. Do not ever make the mistake of thinking otherwise.
