Abram: I gotta say Antjo, only if you let it. I chose "Other" in the poll, but at first was going to choose "No, just the natural course of it.", then I thought otherwise. As every decision, and choice I make, may, or may not, influence the natural course, and then it is no longer natural. Another words, I may have had influence on the what might suck, or not.

Hi Abram!
Does it a guided course composed by our decissions?
Have you, however, not felt that sometimes there is a course, certain tendencies that even operate at the level of our decisions?

If that is true, then even our ability to control life might be doubtful and if it sucks then there is nothing we can do about it.
What do you think?

I find myself deflated by the realization that virtually everyone's life is only remembered for one thing. For example, J.D. Salinger wrote Catcher in the Rye for all practical purposes, that's it. He may as well have done nothing else, ever. Guarantee about 98 percent of the world doesn't know about anything else he's ever done. Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin; every other element of his existence is completely irrelevant.moping

Absolutely irrelevant my friend. I might make us a little less arogant but not...

No, life doesn't suck. It has its down times, but we learn from them. And it has its up times that make up for them.

Personally, I love it all! wine

Having been through some serious losses in my life, and life threatening situations, now even suffering the pain of permanent disabilities, I've heard many say to me how, "That must suck.", or "Damn, you've had some very bad luck." Know, myself, that some of it was of choices I made, and life threatening ones of other peoples choices, I could settle with that fact that life sucks, but I don't. I take great pleasure in the fact that, their are many who could never live through, and suffer daily as I do. That does not suck. That is the strength that guides me daily, as I walk, as I live with its power, and grace. A power, and grace, I freely share of my abilities, my learned insights, that few live, as I do, to share.
