I believe it is real, but I do remember seeing a documentary that they actually filmed it incase the transmission broke down as it was never tested before, but they never used it because of Neil Armstrong famous speech

I not only think it was real, I know it was real.

I have a certificate & a badge from when it happened , we got them through a newspaper in Adelaide in Australia, I still cherish them & wanted to be an astronaut because of them.

I do wish that this conspiracy theory would go away because so many people worked hard for it to succeed

Faking it would have been quite an achievement,

possibly more so than actually landing on the moon.

They must have been faking these experiments also then for the past 40 yrs.

I think everyone should go visit the Kennedy Space Center in Florida and see the historical items on display from the Moon Program. You could make up your own mind as to whether or not these items could have accomplished the moon landing.

As for me; I worked in the aerospace business my entire life until I retired a few years ago. I was lucky enough to work on the new replacement for the space shuttle. I worked with and along side many outstanding, intelligent and forward looking men and women.

There is no doubt in my mind that we went to the moon and landing on it back in 1969. Technology builds on early accomplishments. Today we are able to do what we do because these superior humans did what they did.

Ok i'll play devils advocate and say it didnt happen for arguments sake...

Now if it did happen, why hasnt it happened again since? we have better technology, more money etc...

If you can prove it didnt happen show us...

As far as I know, there is not big enough reason to fund another trip for now.

No i agree it happened, i was trying to prompt some of those who voted that it didnt happen to speak up...

it has happened again since then so far 12 people have walked on the moon 10 of them after 1969...

But it orginally happened because the U.S was playing one upmanship with the Russians during the cold war, Surley now they even more reason or even better reasons to go there now than ever before? such as to further scientific research....

I think it boils down to:

What would be the purpose for the mission?

Who is willing to pay the huge amounts of money to do it?

Is the money better spent on something else?

Do you want your limited technical talent working on this mission rather than something else?
