LesserEvil: It is not. Because the person who started the thread was inquiring about the importance of "size of clothing" (i.e. "standardized system of measuring the size of the clothing according to the size of the wearer´s body, expressed in a form of a numeric scale")...I simply replied that "if the stomach is flat and the hips are much wider, the size of the both don´t matter") (translated JUST for You, Vonney.. )...In other words, the surface of the stomach may be big and the hips may be wide but it`s the ratio that matters.

If needed, I will bring the audio-visual aides..

Well if you are going to literally stick to talking about clothes size...if the hips and stomach are not in proportion then the size (of the clothes) does matter as the top would have to be a different size to the skirt/trousers.

sjenner: Wow you guys must like bigger women. As for my taste anything under a size 9 is fine. As long as she has nice 36C-38DD breasts and a bubble butt!
UK and European sizes are different, a size 8 or 10 is small

gingerb: From studies I have read, size invariably matters more to men than to women, who are more forgiving of size, big or small, in favour of spiritual or attitudinal characteristics.

I think, too, that women understand better how little a shape matters, when they take on so many shapes in their lifetime, including pregnancy, which distorts the figure completely, and where the aftermath of pregnancy often leaves skin stretched beyond repair, no matter how much exercise they do.

A woman's experience of shape is wider than a man's in many ways, since she knows that she is capable of loving all shapes and sizes of people, from babies to geriatrics just for whom they are, and not for their ever changing sizes.

I think a woman's essence is based in nurturing...

Not too sure yet what a man's is based in...
Thats alright, Im a man and I have no clue what Im based on.bouquet

gingerb: Protection isn't about size. There are exceptions to every rule, so "some people" maybe think that.

"Protection isnt about size."

Which rule book did that come out of?

Anyway I did say 'some' women.

Since it isn't in the jokes sections I have something else to add on size. There are many reasons that people are big or overweight or out of proportion, not related to bad eating habits.

Now while this rarely happens in men, it very often happens in women, often related to hormone imbalances, diseases such as MS, (more prevalent in women of a certain age), diminishing bust sizes after breastfeeding for instance, leading to disproportionate shape, ie: bottom heavy. Arthritis and other inherited crippling diseases, leading to an inability to exercise, also certain meds that increase appetite or slow metabolism.

If men were showing genuine feelings, (as defined by women), for someone, then none of thiese things would matter. There wouldn't even be discussions about whether size mattered in either gender...wine
