That depends on your meaning of girlfriend.
He could have many friends that are girls (women)
or he could have many who are just wanting a casual fling/sex.

I have not been aware of that pesar, maybe a fear of commitment or maybe just because they can, after all Heinz does say that variety is the spice of life..

I'm assuming here we are talking about guys who date more than 1 woman at a time. Not all guys seek this, but many do. Some men have enough self-awareness to know they just aren't very good at commitment. As long as no-one is being misled, it's all good in my eyes.

Why do guys want to date more than one woman at a time? Because they can....& because there are obviously women who are also happy with the arrangement. I don't think the motives are complicated or that guys plan it either.

I think they just get restless for new experiences. Similar to how women only like the clothes they haven't bought yet. Like I said, there's no harm done unless of course, the guy is telling each girlfriend she's the only one. Then he's a jerk.
