Grandepensees: A book or a movie wouldn't give homage to the horrors those people have suffered there.
I don't need to have someone there to realize their pain and suffering.
They are my brothers and my sisters, my fathers and my mothers. Every soul that is snuffed out is a part of me that goes, friend.
I'll say the same for the soldiers who die, and the same for the Palestinians and Israelis and Iranian and Libyans and Egyptians and Bosnians and Syrians all those who have died while trying to simply live a normal life.
Maybe it's time we all realize that every life lost is a part of ourselves that go wasted.
But what would their deaths be if we who remain live in fear and despair, in depression and hopelessness? Why not live and enjoy life for those who cannot do it? Why not thank our maker that we can be witnesses to their suffering and loss onto the end of the age?
Why not?
While I feel sorrow for the horrors the people endure there, I can't help but also realize their region's culture and history shows that that's the way of life for them.
The fact remains they ( alot of them ) don't value life as we do, whether it's because of religion, upbringing etc....
The senseless bombings are acts of cowards who think killing inncocent victims will bring the world to see their cause.
We've lost too many young soldiers to a region that thrives on chaos and murder. I get choked-up every time I see the news show the lastest of our youth killed in action over there.
It's not our job to change them. It's not our business if they want to kill each other. It's all for control of the oil...
