Big big difference between a 24 year old and a 28 year old, women think at 24 that they know what they want (and men) at 28 they know what they want.
Big difference in that few years because life at 28 takes away that rose tinted image of the world, by 28 they face reality and know what they want.

Before I am shot down it is inly my opinion and a sweeping generalisation of course.

It does not matter what the age of two people is, the thing that matters is how they feel about one another.

The age difference is not a big deal, but as I learned in my late 20's, with a cougar 18 years my senior, after a time there becomes a possession issue, and my interests, sports, and outdoor activities away from home put a strain on things.

i've dated from a 28 year old up to 51 non were better or worse because of their age. just different circumstances kept each one from being the one for me, or me for them as the case may have been.

i didn't meen to quote you, but now that i'm here, how long does any relationship last. my last we had a 4 year difference ,i was older, we lasted 14 years.

Yes of course there are no guarantees in any relationship, but big age differences simply serve to magnify any problems.

You fail to read that age is not the problem here, age is not the underlying question for me but question of maturity and experience of the real, big, outside world away from family, college and the usual stuff that leads to 24 years olds going through the older man, come 28 she has put these experiences behind her and can make informed choice at 24 this choice is very limited. No. I have been involved with this age group and 24 they have ambition but little reality.

i was 42, he was 54. lots in common initially but, then i found i was supposed to think like i was almost 60. Didn't work out. Nice man though. Depends on the individuals i would think.
