LOL; you are a teen; remember there were movies before 1980;

Jeeperss Creepers, hellraiser, children of the corn, pet sematary, and Candy man arent' close to me.

the original night of the living dead, the fog, original halloween, psycho, the omen, the excorcist, poltergeist, the original invasion of the body snatchers, rosemary's baby, original amityville horror even though the story is fake, before the slasher films came out, Alfred Hitchcock and Rod Serling and others actually had great stories; now it's just slasher flix like the sadistic Saw series which is ridiculous to me.

For a 19 year old though not a bad list

Cute profile picture baby monkey! Almost none of the good horror movies were on tv this year. My high school boyfriend looked almost exactly like Malakai from Children of the Corn. (Malakai was the freaky redhead.)

I picked the Exorcist but it wasn't that scary there are few movies that freak me out and those are:

The Exorcism of Emily Rose

The Ring (the first one)

Saw (not scary just enjoy the gore)

I like going to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios because at least there the "horror" is pretty real. They chase you and when you get drunk enough it gets crazy scarygrin

Plus the rides are open

Steven King is the horror king It hands down

I like your before 1980 list. I do recall seeing all of those movies. The original Gog, Amityville Horror and Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" and "Paycho" really top the list. I recall being in the movie theatre watching "The Birds" when they attacked Tippi Hedrin. Us girls were all screaming as we sat in the front row watching her get bit up by the blackbirds and seagulls. It was quite frightening to watch.help
