This question is maybe a little delicate. Not because of the question itself, but because of the background. Well, we all know 9/11, Khomeini, the Golf-war, Afganistan and so on. The world is fighting against the extrem fundamentalists. Fundamentalism is the adherence to the bases of an idea (thoughts, idea) or belief, in this case, the belief. Those humans stand absolutely behind the Koran, and follow it, word for word. Therefore may many think, the Koran must be a bad book. I read the Koran and I find nothing bad in it. Well, all big religions have their Book and for my thinking, it is a matter of the interpretation, how to use it. The "how" and "why", is not the topic. A lot of People said, what other said, or believe everything what the media tell. I think, to form a own opinion it`s necessary, to know what you`re talking about. I would like to know, how many non-Islamic People have read the Koran.

Hi there I have read the Koran- It is way much more interesting then the bible. There is one thing I don’t understand bout it tho, it is full of scientific fact such as how mountains around our planet stop the Earth from shaking ...etc and yet the Muslims themselves deny scientific fact? or should I say argue against science? confused

Well, I don`t know. Everyone has a different opinion and I'm no archaeologist and no religion exergetic. Therefore allow me answer with a counter-question. The Bible says, our world is about 7000 years old, how scientific is this?

I'm not at all interested in reading books of fairy tales written 1000's of years ago by ignorant people who didn't even know the world was a sphere.

lol...you can do and say better than that elitelaugh if you have read the holy quran, you must have noticed that Quran NOT only directs its infinite wisdom to 'muslim' BUT also to non-muslims. And whatever scietific facts, you are claiming muslims to be ignoring, are the domains of whole wide world. in other words, ALLAH almighty never said anywhere in the holy Quran that ONLY muslims will "accept and learn" about the scientific facts. A muslim may or maynot be inclined to learn the "scietific truths"(for whatever reasons that might be), but there will always be some 'elite' or some other scientists who will proclaim those same scietific truths. And that's exactly what one may call the 'beauty of quran' or islamcheers. And also if you read the holy Quran, you will notice that ALLAH almight in some places only talking to "muslim" while in some other places, HE is talking to the whole humanity/the people of every other beliefspeace

But anywho, i am sure that you are also smart enough to know that the holy quran is not a "book of/on science"..it only talks about SOME BUT NOT ALL scientific truths simply because it is not a book of science or mathematics or physics or chemistry...doh..it is a book on which human can get the direction to life and innovation BUT not the innovation itself handshake

Such a pity people can't show some respect for the views of others even tho they may not agree with them

it is ok morgan. But you will be surprised to know that most people actually know the "truth" but the things that are stopping them are their ego and also the fear of change.cheers

actually one time i was swimming in the ocean in the southern phillipines and a woman wearing white sheets got in the water, she was just a few meters away, and when the water hit the sheets it was like a wet t-shirt contest, OMG, her body was awesome, i would guess 38DD with silver dollar size areola, the only sad part is her father or husband started yelling at her to get out of the water, but those boobs are in my memory forever,I should thank who ever started this post for bringing me that memorycheers

i mean most people are smart to know the truth or learn the truth, contray to what we like to believe. And eventually, those who learn the truth(but can't express it because of their fear of change or ego) will accept the reality. I guess that's just human nature. we just wait for the right time to act decisively.peace
