it is not an example it is a punishment, imprisonment causes me the tax payer money and i will not feed and house a murder

No human being has the right to end another person's life, unless there is a life at stake at that very moment.

But by the same token a person should be allowed to take there own life if they are not willing to be incarcerated for life, in a humane way of course.

When someone is found completely guilt, they should not be allowed to see or talk to anyone for the rest of their incarceration, our prisons are a joke, more like just another place they can be stupid in.

Killing is killing, no matter if its a criminal act or sanctioned by law. I Think killing is so evil that the murderer must not be heard or seen again. He or she should be removed from humanity and, to prove they have an once of humanity left in them, pay daily penance at the alter of everlasting life until the end of their time on this planet.

Yes, but only for very exceptional circumstances. People like Jeffrey Dahmer & Charles Manson for example - people whose crimes are so evil and reprehensible that the normal rules of decent treatment just don't apply.

I appreciate that most criminals should be treated humanely & some may have a lot to offer even if they do spend their whole life behind bars. Many do repent & study & speak to younger inmates about the dangers of a life of crime. I believe most people do deserve a 2nd chance.

Some criminals though, are simply not human - they're animals, and I think the world would be a better place without them alive in it.

i am 100% for capital punishment, mureders deserve to die for killing someone else they should of thought about what they were going to do and the consequences and if they are allowed to live even if they commit the crime and have a chance later in life of being free again for good behavior then they will not think so much b4 commiting a murder

the way i see it if somebody was heartless enough to kill somebody why should he be somewhat forgiven by getting life in prision. to hell with letting him rot in prision exectue the sob and get it over with. it'd be nice for the ones that kill children if they'd play russian rulet with em.

in basic, i am with death penalty, because of three reasons.
1- it is god ruling (for religious people to recognize).
2- it is fair penalty for intentional “killing” crimes.
3- it prevents people doing “intentional killing” crimes.
But, this penalty needs terms and conditions to be applied. The most term is “justice”. If justice is well and courts are fair and trusted, then we can appeal to apply death penalty because we assure that it will be executed only on deserving criminals.
But, in fact, justice in the world is ill these days. Injustice is the common, at least we can say that justice is not trusted.
In this case, execution can be applied on innocent people. Because of this reason, I am not with death penalty.

Or what is this question about really? Are you talking about rapists, murderers or those who commit treason. Lincoln once shot a man on the white house lawn for treason, death sentence for treason. It has usually been the death sentence for treason in any country, well the US isn't so much on the death penalty for treason in the current times..hence Clinton was going to be up for charges for treason. But China executes women if the get pregnant without the Governments permission, in fact there may be that video up on youtube of the thousand or so women being executed by soldiers as they were shot in the head and half their heads were blown off in their death sentence for just getting pregnant and not being married. Pretty disgusting and disturbing video if you can find it on the web.

If someone walks into my house and they were not invited, they just made their own death sentence, either by sword or by bullet.
If its rape, then its torture and a life sentence.
If its murder without just cause, life sentence and more torture.
If a woman catches her husband cheating on her, she decides if he gets life torture or a death sentence.
