What if she was raped and got pregnant, should she keep it? It is not fair towards the girl. I like children and do not like saying that i am for abortion but still it depends on the situation.

I believe that there are three people involved that have the same rights to live. The mother, the father and the unborn baby. I personally don't believe in abortion as there are always families who are looking to adopt.

Honestly when it comes right down to it - how difficult is it to carry a baby for 9 months to give that child the gift of life? Perspective is everything and regardless of whether a mother thinks that she'll never be able to give a baby away to a caring family - I'd have to disagree with that because other's have proven it can be done.

I think it depends on the circumstances, it s not just the physical side of carrying a baby but the emotional aspects as well particularly if a woman is pregnant thro rape or a child thro sexual abuse. Its not that cut and dried some women can cope with that others can't and that should be there choice.

In the UK this week an 11yr gave birth, still a child herself to me there is no wrong or right answer.

A woman has every right to decide whether she wants to abort or not. And also at the same time, we must trust the judgement of a woman in this regard. whatever decision she takes will have some "consequences" which she will "bear" with for the rest of her life. all i am saying that we simply should trust the judgement of a woman.

It is true that there are people who want to adopt children but there are so many baby houses full of orphans in the world. There are three baby houses in my city and caregivers take care of them well but still they are not like a home children and they are taken care in those baby houses and orphanages untill they are 16 or 18. Where would they go after the orphanage without education and not independant at all. They are used to ask permission for every their action, even for having one more candy and used that others make decisions for them and after 18 they are just thrown out to survive in this not easy life.
In my country it is not accepted well when girl gets pregnant without being married and a lot of girls come to big cities after school to enter the university or find a job and here they meet guys who lie to them that they would marry and blah blah and disappera after they get what they want. And these young (16-20 years) girls are ashamed to go back to their parents with their belly and know that they can not support their child financially and they decide to do abortion even if they do not want to do it. So I think it depends on the situation.
P.S. I know all about these baby houses since i used to work for adoption agency and had to go these baby houses every week and kept crying every time for the first year to see all those orphans even though they are taken care well by their caregivers.

It comes right back around to pure murder. How do we put aside a child's rights? A helpless defenseless child even if it was conceived from rape is still a child. So the woman should kill the man before he has sex with her, or perhaps she should kill any man that rapes her since she will kill her child too. I see the potential for any woman who has the ability to kill her child to kill just about anyone else. So, what is more dangerous than a woman who can kill her own child? Nothing, in fact, I would worry more about a woman who can kill her own child than any convict in the jail system that gets lose on the streets, in fact, women who kill their child are worst than terrorists. Even terrorists don't have that cold of a heart.

So, it can end up that a woman who has an abortion has the taste for human blood and can kill anyone else and feel the same way. Once you have killed, its easy after the first. Its kind of like saying "who is next?".

It isn't even from a religious point of view, since many Christians or those who say they are get abortions as well.
what God does with those women is up to God, but for the sake of a civilized human being killing an innocent human being is just not normal. Otherwise, lets regroup those women and put them on the front lines since they have no heart anyway and kill just about anyone, I think the enemy will fear those heartless women more than our own military.

I am not the one to judge those who do it, and perhaps skeptical minds will dispute this, we must never forget that abortion Is a big sin - both from the point of religion, conscience, and karma. Its a murder. To abort the very first child is a biggest sin. To kill a small life because it is the result of light-minded behaviour is a big sin. Punishment will pursue one who commits it anyway. And it is not Him who punishes. As you sow, so you reap.
I had read once: "The Mother Nature told to Woman: Be beautiful if you want to. Be wise if you can. But to be prudent is a must."

Isn't this a TAD EXTREME? Do you know how emotionally devastating having an abortion can be to a woman? Its not a game, there is no fun in taking another life especially your own flesh and blood. A good friend of mine was pressured into having one when she was much much younger. As it turned out, it was discovered that the baby would not have survived to maturity and later on she was unable to conceive. Have you any idea how devastating that was emotionally for her? I do. She never really got over it, this wasn't some piece of trash she was throwing aside - this was her kid. I've never had an abortion but I can well imagine that whatever the reason that it cannot be an EASY decision, it is something that must stay with you for the rest of your life. Life is never so cut and dried.

Of course, among those who do it with cold blood, there are women who regret it later. But will their conscience allow them to live afterwards the way they lived before doing that?

Like I said I am not the one to judge, and I don't judge any one. I just hope and pray that this will never happen to me, and hope that people will have the heart and conscience not to commit this

You are an understanding person, and it is sad that your friend had to go through that pain. But a human being always has a choice.

Nobody is perfect. Me either. But if one does not have morals, at least one should have brains and use common sense.
