HDALE: Teen covers a large age group.17 or younger I would say I was going to if they didnt.18 + I would show them a few of my med records , the 14 pills a day I take,that dont get u high, related to drinking .And tell them all the fun I had that I am now paying for.The puking,not knowing whether I had fun,made an ass of myself,not knowing if we did it but knowing I was drunk so if we did I didnt get off.
Most of all the memories I dont have.

I am a country boy, I tried to drink and smoke through out my younger teen years and its just being a teen. The more you tell a teen they cannot drink or smoke the more they will sneak out and do it anyway. So like my parents did, they put the wine bottle on the table at every dinner and said, if you are going to drink you will drink at home. Well that spoiled the fun going out and drinking with friends, but I took up the offer till I just felt it was no fun to drink at all. Smoke, well my older brother gave me a cig and I chocked and gagged till I was blue in the face, then I didn't want to smoke either. So what seemed to be cool and fun turned out to be a total flop for me, I just lost interest. So I didn't party, I ended up being the designated driver most of the time I went to a party just to see friends and a few times I stayed up all night taking care of friends puking their guts out, which really turned me away from drinking by the time I saw what people ate before they drank as it came back out and I had to smell it all night long.
Plus, by the time I was 17 I buried 5 of my friends who drove off the road drunk. Kind of puts a damper on thinking partying was fun when you have to bury your friends who thought it was so great, but died as a result.

My parents were a little smarter than I was, but I thank them today for their efforts since it kept me a good ol country boy.

Do we not all rememmber our days when we where teenagers?
I drank and smoked from 15 and i didnt end up on the gutter
I run my own biz and enjoy rememmbering the good owl daays,
fair enough if they are smoking crack and drinking floor polish
Dont be a rat, Show them respect and talk to them instead of going behind their backs, talk to them about what the effects are, we were all teenagers once!!! Grown ups fssssdunno
