I initially joined CS, when I felt ready after my split to date again. I was shit nervous as dating sites where something that never even entered my head previously. I didn't enter the forums for about a month, and I shit myself when I first posted. I remember Lou made me feel really welcome by replying to me and I went from there.

Needless to say I did go on dates, and it seemed that everyone and I mean everyone I met was completely different to what they come across in emails etc. I got a bit tired of the 'I want to get in your pants' and now just come for the forums and to have a laugh.

The laughs I have had with Kizzy, dawgz, lou and Jimi where priceless when we use to run a muck in here. I guess the forums where a social outlet for me, as I moved to a small country town from the coast after me split, and the coast is, and always will be my home, Ive lived here since I was 12 and missed the beaches and visual stimulation.

I don't get in the forums as much as I use to for a few reasons. But all in all they are fun and there are good people. Mind you not all my friends from CS post in the forums its just not there thing, but I do know they read them.

yep, internet dating was all new to me. I had been out of dating and relationships since my partner died, now 8 years ago. I was actually so shy I could not talk to a bloke. I came here to learn to chat with people again in a safe environment I was made welcome and that meant a lot to me. I now talk to everyone I meet, from the Austrian Logistics manager in a cafe yesterday to the lads at work

I have met someone very special to me on another site, even though we live on the opposite side of the world to each other, we are doing good., we have met 8 times this year so far, but are still realistice about our location problems and are saving frequent flyer miles

I have met people who live close to me boys and girls and had some very good nights out.

When I bring Alfie, the Harley across Australia next year I hope to meet some of the Aus. folk

When I'm busy I dont post much, when I'm I regret posting but mostly the forums are just damned right funny, it could be a stand up comic show on the right night

When i was here before i was reading the forums and posting in some. Went away and tryed the dating sites....... Now back for the forums as i enjoyed reading them even when i didn't post.............
There was good old days............ and by reading the threads i see they still can be fun to read and join in.

Yeh, had a flick over that before posting this poll. Actually filled in about six of them, before realizing I would be 78 yrs of age and still filling in polls if I didn't stop straight away

its almost impossible to find someone in any dating sites, but its the forums, that are interesting, some are all right, and some arnt, but thats life...you sure get to know someone more then seeing whos on line, forums bring out the psersonally in people, and you learn more about the peole you have seen on line, as it seems its always the same people until someone fresh comes along, and all eyes are on that person, and over time, they too become the same as everyone else, lookong, hoping., maybe maybe not, next!!!!!

im really only here for the forums but i did met some one..I like him and I enjoy the fact hes 8hrs away but Im also with 8 sites ive met one guy face to face and OMG scary....
