I have traveled to many states in the USA, Spain, Scotland and Canada to meet ladies from this site and many have returned to meet me again Ireland. I also have met many amazing Irish ladies here in my home country of Ireland.
In my experience, i suggest you have more than one photo in your profile with at least one of the photo's being a full facial, smiling shot without sunglasses. The smile is a must. Keep it light and funny when it comes to describing yourself and describing your desired partner.
Safety concerns is a worry for us all and maybe even more so for the ladies. There is a very safe way of meeting someone here on this site. (If you feel you need some tips..post here or simply message me.) If fear is going to be a barrier that stops you from communicating with people on the site you should keep your expectations very low by not expecting much from the site. If you are truly looking for a loving relationship, let yourself have some fun and dive in because you do have to do a little work in getting yourself noticed. The love of your life will not just come magically knocking at your door.
I would like to point out that i am not a member of the CS staff site and i do not speak on behalf of the site. I am just a regular (long term) member of the site just like you.

I have been on this since 2006 and in that time i have traveled to many states in the USA and actually met some wonderful ladies all thanks to this amazing site. I also traveled to Scotland, Portugal, Canada, and Spain meeting beautiful female members from this site and return, most of them traveled to Ireland to visit me.
At home here in Ireland i arranged a few very successful singles nights out with the help and support of the staff of CS. Unfortunately i didn't yet meet the love of my life but it's fair to say that it came very close at times.
If you have nothing to contribute to the site and you are not here for any relationship? , why are you on this site at all ? Don't you think it would be more appropriate to direct your constant, relentless bombardment of (TV news headline) threads in the CS forums to sites like Facebook ? It's so extreme that there is no doubt that people lose faith about the other profiles on this site. If the love is there it should be all about the holiday and the time spent there together. If one is financially strong it will take very little effort to finance the holiday. If one has to count every penny it can be very strenuous for him/her to make it happen.
If i was the financially strong one in this case i would pay the full amount and would hope my partner would do the same if the situations were reversed..
If its all about money i would have to rethink about the whole relationship regarding if its really the right one for me.
