i saw burning spear at a little club called the commodore (in Vancouver) near where i lived at the time. it's a great little place with a wooden dance floor that bounces a bit...lol. saw king sunny Ade, and a few others as well. thank you for your post, it brought back a lot of great memories.
many of my views and interests, and those of someone i would get to know, effect my choices. i don't see it as limiting...i see it as discerning. while i believe letting go of some 'beliefs' that no longer serve, .... benefit oneself or others, that would be dependent on one's expansion.
i think in images, too. even when i am listening...and sometimes it's hilarious... the images constantly change as the information changes.
as well....my ego is really tricky. sooo... it behooves me to do some thinking, and observing, before i speak. otherwise it's rather unfiltered and self serving...lol. (am i talking to make a connection, share info, control or harmony, or am i just making noise to hear myself, ...are among the first questions i ask...lol)
