~Fear of HEIGHTS ~

Author: Bentlee

Lookin down your mind hits the bottom through your eyes not a blink. Adrenaline flows as you stand on the front of your feet on your toes. Knuckles in white grasping rail tight, as you look too the bottom your minds fear of height. Your fightin the fear drops of sweat on the shirt, as your knuckles in white, close the eyes makes it worse. Lift a foot u turn green, get me down NOW . . . . . enough I've seen~

~Take a Hike ~

Author: Bentlee

Every steps into six inches of Sand. Pullin foot out into next step, hour glass sand trickles tween toes. Fine'LINE RIDGE scribe toe ta heel. Crater'd sand catches bead a sweat. Silo'd shaft pivots walkin stick. Three o'clock sun vapours visioned sight. Side winder trail ghost'd shadow from the morn. Cacti in spike sunlit green an brown. Four foot'd lizard one in the air. Snow blind eyes squint squeeze out the light. Flaked skin blows out of sight. Drop of sweat hit's the sand!

~At 40 Below~

Author: Bentlee

Dam it's sure a cold place to be, socks slippers fully dressed an a throw, fireplace cracklin an jack frosted window panes. The snow's in squeak mode, with your foot or a tire an even foot of a mouse. It's even a place on the thermometer two converge. Farenheit an celsius chill for a while, at 40 below they share that same place. Warmer or colder to each other can't keep pace. Pull up the blankets another log on the fire. Nights colder than ice, tuck in the toes an let 40 below be as it may~

Silver cast day eclipse of the sun moon's in the way with shadows at bay. Solar flares dance the skin of the moon stepped in brief time blink of an eye. Cast out past o-zone suspended in flight.

~Not a Word Said~

Author: Bentlee

~Eve of the Christmas my eyes out window gaze. Icicle pictures hang the edge of the house, lights a times twenty motion pictured cars go by. Through the ice they go backwards turnin back time only for moments of refracted lines. Breath grabs the window an arm wipe to see. Christmas eve's here as she come's to your side. Not a word said four eyes look out. At each others side in spirited air. Deep breath's drawn in rippled fingers to each.......... not a word said~

St Nick's Soot

Author: Bentlee

For the children of course smiles delivered wrapped in bow. Belly of laughter an countdown in Tow. Kindness an love upon kindred smiled face. His spirit exude's peace love an gesture to all a life. Token gifts abound, paralled with true understood meaning we all know. In his eyes are whats really wanted in place, unity non-conformity hand in hand three sixty four plus his one day.

When

Author: Bentlee

The men on your chess board play out your enacted life. Pawn for pawn, bishop takes knight. Up from the chair look there's a plane no it's superman, look mommy there's an aeroplane in the sky. Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Diamond dogs an rust never sleeps as you take your stairway to heaven, watchin the boys in the bright white sports car go by, as Bob sings I don't like mondays, the knight in white satin double edges his sword, hold's you in his arms you can feel his disease, come together!
