she's dead, jim.

love like a vacuum cleaner

make noise when they turn you on,
suck up

keeping to yourself on off-white semi-retractable cord and loose parts no one uses anyway

occupy as little space as possible
in the closet,
dying quietly
when not in use

mean grandpa story

I was skipping stones in the Clackamas River and grandpa told me this story.

Once there was a stone.
She lived just about where you are standing.
She lived here for millions of years
and witnessed many interesting things.
then one day a boy carelessly tossed the stone into the river.
And she died.

I was offered five scoops
of ice cream
at the Table.

Couldn't help but notice few others were.

Some were offered six, and i saw one poor woman
who only got a spoonful.

each tub was clearly labled,
not with flavors, but traits.

hmm.

"Two of quick wit,
one each of stamina, patience anf fortitude. Please.

"very good sir."

can you believe that?

"Sir."
