In your place I would allow age range + or -10 years, not 37 year old for starters(not to look creepy/or weirdo), because men usually age faster than women. Also better start to send flowers first, then see what reply you receive. If it is only: "thanks for flower" or no response then not worth to put effort to write long E-mail. Men on this site are very slow and sleepy, so if you put some effort it must work well for you. Good luck!

couscous: I disagree with islander7, i wouldnt change the age gap in fact i would lower it to 35 and raise it at the other end as well, after all age is only a number. Nothing wrong with profile, i just think its harder for men these days to get noticed. I completely disagree that "age is only a number". It is an expierence, looks, understanding, and much more... And actually who can take seriously 66 years old man who is looking for 35 years old woman( daughters age, or even granddaughters). Profile is OK, but pics are very unclear, so I would replace pictures, and fix age gap - I totaly agree with Islander7. Good luck! EL

First thing first, your picture is not clear. I can’t see how you look like. Kind of like my picture. I need to include full view. Not hoping that someone would love my face and hope that they would like those extra 10 pounds that I can’t shake off. You have to be truthful. Unless you like to email back and forth only. Romanticized idea only.
As for the age thing………..I don’t respond to man who is just a bit older then my kids. Gentlemen, it’s not a complement to me, it’s creepy. Same thing applies to much older person, like 90? Most of us wants a semi equal relation, not something that will last short time only. Too many times you see a too young women, who wants to be only financially take cared for. Means you have to have $$$
Or man who wants young thing on his arm to show off, but forgets that if this is not a true love, she will not change his diaper when time comes. Please get real. Those relations can happen, but not likely. Maybe movies??? but not often enough to write about it. Sorry, those a harsh words, but you asked for it. I am bold and honest in my views. I wish you luck.

Women certainly do not go bold, they don't neglect themselves as much as ageing males, do not grow beer belly... Just have a look at the pictures on this site. Also general statistics show that men are faster climbers into the grave than women. They die younger... Sorry to dissapoint you... EL
