I know what you mean though, I have 2 different voices, one for work (proper) and one for the rest of the time (pure East accent!!)

It's just the way I was trained I suppose but hey!!! never mind that's the way the cookie crumbles!!!!!

Yeah, you should be able to get some good therapy in Sauchiehall Street, that's where I go, when I'm in Glasgow for shoppin,it's better than Edinburgh for shopping!!

Ok, I'm not sure of the prices, but there's the Radisson on the Royal Mile, King James hotel, North British (on Princes St if I remember correctly), Apex Grassmarket, Travel Lodge (although that's more the West End but still fairly central, and they sometimes do deals), Three Sisters - Grassmarket, if you need more help lemme know
