Ohhhhh, I wish you guys had decided to take the ectra hop to Ibiza... I could show you all such a great time here!!!! I'll try to take the hop over to Barcelona, it will depend on work schedule. It would be great to meet you all!

With Spanair or Vueling it can often be cheaper to fly... and so much faster! Considering a little play time in Ibiza then? Its so much nicer the Mallorca providing you stay out of San Antonio which is where all the idiots go!

I don't know if mainland Spain is going through the same thing as Ibiza is... but here they are starting to crack down on illegal or black rentals. So many people move in with family or friends during the season and rent out their homes and apartments and don't report the income. This year they have created a task force that is going after these landlords so a lot of people are pulling their advertisments.

Yes, it is... and no place comfy to sleep! If you want to stick to land/sea, I think it's better to take the train down to Denia and then cross from there depending on the ferry its 2 to 4 hours.

Ibiza is lovely and has gotten a bad rap from those stupid Ibiza uncovered or underground videos that were shot a few years back. I think there is more personal freedom here then anywhere I've been, but with that comes a lot of personal responsibility.

Drug use is prolific here but in most cases used quite sensibly... but you alway hear about some stupid tourist who thinks it's a good idea to take 12 ecstasy tabs, half a gram of MDMA, a big snort of ketamine and polish it all of with a gram or two of cocaine and may or may not wind up dead. Unfortuanatly that's what most people hear about when they hear about Ibiza.

The reality is that it is a lovely island in the Med. with a very unique lifestyle and if Ibiza claims you... it's very hard to live anywhere else.
